Hello world, I would just like to add a new character to the list, Forager and Chef Jonathan Strand!! we will be exploring this week, Spring oregon mushroom picking!

  1. Hi gang! We will be foraging local, coastal mushrooms this year!

    A tasty tid-bit:

    dehydrate you favorite mushrooms (mine are porcini-boletes) and grind them in a food processor until they are dust. Then mix the dust with salt, pepper and Thyme or Rosemary.
    Pat each side of your favorite fish in the mixture and sear in a pan with butter. Finish in the oven, and... oh! Hi Emeril! What would you say to this?
    Emeril Lagasse: "umm, I would say, BAM!"
    Jonathon: Right!
